About me

I’m an award-winning journalist and editor who spent nearly 15 years as a key leader in the digital transformation of Reach PLC’s newsrooms across the UK. I’m now an editorial consultant with my own business Alma and work with publishers, media companies and digital content businesses of all shapes and sizes on growing their audience and engagement. I also founded and run one of the UK’s independent community news titles, Blog Preston, which became 15-years-old in 2024.
